How the Cross-Reference Tool Works

Tier 1 ⸻ Exact Match

Same horsepower, same RPM class, same frame, same voltage, same enclosure. These motors drop in identically — bolt pattern, shaft dimensions, and electrical specs match NEMA standards across every major manufacturer.

Tier 2 ⸻ Compatible Replacement

Same horsepower and RPM class, but with one flexible parameter. For example: same motor in a different voltage winding, or an adjacent frame size in the same family. Almost always interchangeable with minor installation adjustments.

Tier 3 ⸻ Alternative Options

Motors that could work with field modifications — different frame, different enclosure, or approximate HP. Call us before ordering from this tier to confirm fit for your specific application.

Colorado Altitude Upsize

Motors one horsepower step up from your current size. We show these because at Colorado elevations (5,280 ft and up), continuous-duty motors need 3–10% more capacity than nameplate. Not needed for short-duty applications.

Don't see a match? We have 150,000+ more motors at our fingertips.

The database above shows motors we stock and can ship fast. But we're authorized dealers for dozens of manufacturers — if we don't have the exact motor, we can order it and usually have it in your hands within 2-5 business days.
